Hey You!

My name is Cristen and I am a wife, mother, artist, plant mom, and photographer here in Medford Oregon. I love going for drives and chasing the sun until the very last ray disappears behind the mountains. Southern Oregon is my home and I am greatly inspired by the beauty that it holds. You will see this come through in my work. From wide open fields to dense evergreens of the PNW, I love to pair nature with human connection.

My love for documenting my own family is what has inspired me to document others in a unique way. When I thought about the types of photographs that I cherish, I realized that it was the real moments, the uncontrollable laughter, the tears from scraped knees, the way my husband looks at me when I am taking care of our daughter. These are the things that we as humans strive to hold on to. I feel so honored every time a new client lets me into the most intimate part of their lives.
